Turks and Caicos

The Turks and Caicos islands are located just to the southeast of Barbados and are known for some of the most incredible scuba diving in the world.  Not as polished as many Caribbean vacation destinations, these islands have their own special charm, away from the bustling casinos and tourist attractions.  The islands are dry, with sunshine and breezy winds being common.

Grand Turk island is the home of the capital city, Cockburn Town.  Famous for some of the most lush walls in the world, people from all over the world come to take advantage of the scuba diving among clear waters, elaborate coral reefs and exotic fish.  Snorkeling is also extremely popular.   When not in the water, tourists may decide to spend a day touring one of the islands by jeep or on horseback, or taking a luxury spa treatment.

While taxis are available on the Turks and Caicos islands, the best option when on a Turks and Caicos vacation is to opt for car rental.  This gives you the flexibility of seeing the islands on your own schedule and for a reasonable price!
