138 islands connected by bridges make up the British colony of Bermuda, but most residents simply refer to the entire chain as simply “the island”. Further north than the Caribbean community, the warm waters of the Gulf Stream still give Bermuda a quasi-tropical atmosphere. Bermuda is famous for the beautiful pink sandy beaches, including Horseshoe Bay Beach, that make snorkeling and swimming a genuine pleasure.
