St. Lucia

On a Saint Lucia vacation, you’ll experience some of the most beautiful sights and exciting adventures of any Caribbean vacation.  Saint Lucia is home to the twin Pitons, two peaks that rise majestically out of the ocean and are a must-see destination for those interested in exploring the rich variety of the Caribbean.

Saint Lucia is a British Commonwealth country first colonized by the English and French in the 17th and 18th century.  It changed hands between the two over 14 times!  Saint Lucia has been independent since 1979.

Saint Lucia is a popular cruise ship destination, because of the friendly locals and fun atmosphere.  Festivals and parties full of music, dancing, drinks and delicious food are held weekly!  Make sure to grab a bottle of Piton Lager, a beer brewed and bottled on Saint Lucia or try the famous Saint Lucia Rum Punch!  Traditional cuisine consists of curry, jerk, rice or stews, but you can find a Saint Lucia restaurant to suit any taste, budget or craving with a little bit of exploration.

Saint Lucia is a perfect tourist destination for travelers of all budgets and tastes, with Saint Lucia hotel options ranging from full service resort hotels to tiny villas.  There are even resorts specializing in environmentally friendly tourists!
