St. Kitts and Nevis are a pair of islands located between Trinidad and Puerto Rico. A St. Kitts and Nevis vacation is particularly rewarding to nature-loving tourists, as the islands contain a number of beautiful tropical birds as well as monkeys descended from those owned by pirates. It’s not at all surprising for tourists out for a little stroll to be greeted by monkeys coming right up to them and begging for food!

Visitors to St. Kitts and Nevis can enjoy some wonderful rainforest hiking, although a guided tour is often recommended, as paths are not always well marked. The number of historic ruins and fortifications left by British settlers make an interesting destination to the historic-minded, including Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park.
Nevis is one of the most inexpensive Caribbean vacation destinations, particular in terms of restaurant choices – your more inexpensive meals are often the best on the island. Nevis restaurants feature delicious and fresh cuisine to fit any palate, from the sophisticated to the simple. St. Kitts and Nevis hotel options range from full-service luxury resorts to quaint little cottages.
Most travel on the island can be done through micro-buses, which you simply flag down as they pass. Taxis are also an option, and temporary driver’s licenses can be obtained if you decide to visit a St. Kitts and Nevis car rental agency.
