Bridgetown is the capital of Barbados and a popular port of call for cruise ships. The only city in this beautiful vacation spot, Bridgetown is a popular shopping destination for tourists and can be easily navigated on foot or by car. When on a Barbados vacation, you may choose one of Barbados’s car rental agencies – or take advantage of the numerous bus and taxi services available to you.

Central Barbados is well-known for golf courses and polo playing, as well as for Harrison Cave, a mammoth limestone cavern that can provide a nice change of pace from the beautiful beaches and surfing excitement. Eastern Barbados is a great destination for the more adventurous tourist set. The waters are a little rougher – which makes The Soup Bowl the island’s best known surfing destination. And if you’re interested in a little nightlife while on your Barbados vacation, make sure to visit Southern Barbados, known for bars, restaurants and their famous Friday fish fry on the beach!

Barbardos has a wide variety of vacation options for any price range, from all-inclusive luxury Barbados resort packages to inexpensive bed and breakfasts. Whether you decide to rent a villa or stay at a Barbados hotel, you’re sure to have the trip of a lifetime!
