Barbados is a beautiful island in the southeast Caribbean, often known as Little England because of its historic association as a colony of Great Britain. Each part of Barbados hosts its own unique attractions to those desiring a Barbados trip.

Bridgetown is the capital of Barbados and a popular port of call for cruise ships. The only city in this beautiful vacation spot, Bridgetown is a popular shopping destination for tourists and can be easily navigated on foot or by car. Central Barbados is well-known for golf courses and polo playing, as well as for Harrison Cave, a mammoth limestone cavern that can provide a nice change of pace from the beautiful beaches and surfing excitement. Eastern Barbados is a great destination for the more adventurous tourist set. The waters are a little rougher – which makes The Soup Bowl the island’s best known surfing destination.
